Our first stop is the Subak museum near Tabanan where the exhibit shows the traditional system of irrigation for the rice paddies, through planting, harvesting etc to the final product. You can also wander through a Balinese family compound. Then continue to Belimbing; this route offers some spectacular rice terrace views. Here we commence the circular one and a half hour walk through plantations with jumbled species of cloves, cocoa, coconut, salak, candlenut, jambu, ferns, plams and tiered rice paddies. Return to the restaurant for a well earned lunch. (not included)
